NEWS – The Central government of India has urged automobile companies to join the unified Right to Repair Portal.

ABOUT RIGHT TO REPAIR PORTAL:

• Launched by the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs on National Consumer Rights Day 2022.
• Aims to provide consumers with repair information to reduce e-waste.

• Focuses on the circular economy by promoting repair and reuse over disposal.
