Overview:

  • Aims to streamline operations and enhance efficiency across 133 identified offices.
  • Spearheaded by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.

Implementation: Implemented by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), serving as the knowledge partner.

Key Components:

  1. File Management System (eFile):
    • Workflow-based system enhancing electronic handling of files.
    • Improves efficiency over traditional manual methods.
  2. Knowledge Management System (KMS):
    • Central repository for organization documents.
    • Enables creation, management, and version tracking of electronic documents.
  3. Work from Anywhere (WAW) Portal:
    • Gateway for virtual office operations.
    • Enables secure access to office functions from any location.
  4. Smart Performance Appraisal Report Recording Online Window (SPARROW):
    • Web-based application for processing Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APAR).
    • Allows employees to submit, review, and manage APAR electronically
