ATAL INNOVATION MISSION INITIATIVES UNVEILED
NEWS – Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog (AIM) announced the launch of two groundbreaking initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and sustainability in India: the ‘AIM – ICDK Water Challenge 4.0’ and the fifth edition of ‘Innovations for You’ handbook, spotlighting SDG entrepreneurs of India.
AIM – ICDK WATER CHALLENGE 4.0
- Collaboration with ICDK: Partnership with the Innovation Centre Denmark (ICDK) at the Royal Danish Embassy in India.
- Objective: Addressing critical water-related challenges through innovative solutions.
- Global Engagement: Selected teams from India participate in the global Next Generation Digital Action program, engaging with talents from 9 countries.
- Program Elements: Hybrid innovation journey includes group work, boot camp sessions, keynotes, personalized mentoring.
- Focus Areas: Sustainability, digital solutions, inclusion, universal design principles.
- Opportunity: Showcasing innovations at the Digital Tech Summit in Copenhagen, funded by the Government of Denmark.
- Eligibility: Open for students and young entrepreneurs under 35 years old, including early-stage startups, researchers, and young innovators committed to environmental change.
- Tracks: Student journey focuses on Digital Action for Societal Impact, while Young Entrepreneurs track accelerates early-stage technology startups and fosters global partnerships.
INNOVATIONS FOR YOU – SDG ENTREPRENEURS OF INDIA
- Publication: Fifth edition of the ‘Innovations For You’ handbook.
- Content: Features 60 SDG Entrepreneurs from India contributing to societal betterment through sustainable innovations.
- Focus Areas: Recyclable and renewable materials, green energy, inclusive education, advocacy for underrepresented communities, and support for local artisans.
- Access: The handbook is available online for public access.
