  • Also aims to create parks, open spaces, and ensure general lake upkeep.

Implementation Process

  • Private entities must submit proposals to BBMP Chief Commissioner.
  • They can execute work or contribute funds; Karnataka Tank Conservation and Development Authority’s approval is mandatory.
  • BBMP engineers to supervise projects for transparency and public disclosure.

Public Feedback

  • Positive response from lake conservation groups like Puttenahalli Neighbourhood Lake Improvement Trust and Friends of Lakes.
  • Emphasis on promoting tripartite agreements to prevent misuse of funds or lake spaces.
