  • DWEEPTI stands for Decentralised Women Empowerment on Energy and Policy for Transformative Inclusion.
  • Initiative of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat & Rural Development Department in collaboration with Transform Rural India (TRI) under the Green Economy Transition Mission.
  • Integrates Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) into the distributed solar energy ecosystem.

  • Expand decentralized renewable energy.
  • Generate sustainable rural livelihoods and strengthen energy self-reliance.

  • Solar Didis: SHG women trained as solar vendors, technicians, installers, managers, and entrepreneurs.
  • PM Surya Ghar Integration: Cluster Level Federations (CLFs) registered as authorized vendors under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana in partnership with Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd. (CSPDCL).
  • Affordable Financing: Flexible loans for rooftop solar installations.
  • Pilot: Successfully implemented in Kabirdham district.
  • Expansion: Planned across all districts of Chhattisgarh.
