  • Khurasani Imlià Fruit of the Baobab tree, found mainly in Mandu (Mandav), Madhya Pradesh.
  • It was introduced to Mandu during the reign of Mahmud Khilji in the 14th century.
  • Also popularly known as Mandav Imli.
  • Recently received the GI Tag, recognizing its unique geographical identity.

KEY FEATURES

  • Produces light green fruits with a distinctive sweet-sour, tangy taste.
  • Rich in Vitamin C, antioxidants, and essential minerals.
  • Grows across several villages in the Mandu region.

MEDICINAL IMPORTANCE
