- The National Girl Child Day is celebrated in India every year on January 24. Government of india did not announce any theme for this year.Theme for 2019 is ‘Empowering Girls for a Brighter Tomorrow’.2020 theme –“my voice,our common future”. 2021 theme- “digital generation, our generation”
- India elected as Vice-Chair at the 12th session of FAO’s Intergovernmental Technical Working Group (ITWG) on Animal Genetic Resources (AnGR) for Food and Agriculture
