Anhydrous Ammonia: Recently Government of India officially approved the manufacturing and use of anhydrous ammonia as a direct fertilizer in agriculture for an initial period of 3 years+ This strategic policy shift aims to cut India's heavy import dependence on conventional urea (currently importing nearly 10 million tonnes annually) + It contains a minimum of 82% nitrogen by weight+ Conventional urea offers only 46% nitrogen content+ Higher Fertilizer Efficiency 10% more compared to conventional Urea.
