- Bengaluru City to have 500 AI-based traffic signals in the next three years
- The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is likely to launch the second batch of OneWeb Satellites. ISRO will launch 36 satellites belonging to OneWeb, the Low Earth Observation satellite (LEO) communications company backed by Bharati Enterprises from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. In October last year, 36 OneWeb Gen-1 satellites were launched as part of a commercial agreement between NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) which is ISRO’s commercial arm and OneWeb Ltd.

- Nobel literature laureate Kenzaburo Oe, whose darkly poetic novels were built from his childhood memories during Japan’s postwar occupation and from being the parent of a disabled son, has died. Oe, who was also an outspoken anti-nuclear and peace activist. “A Personal Matter”, published one year after the birth of his mentally disabled son in 1963 is the story of a father coming to terms through darkness and pain with the birth of a brain-damaged son.
