- Human breast milk bank at Vani Vilas Hospital, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is free of formula feed. This the first time that the milk bank, started on March 8, 2022, on Women’s Day and about to complete a year, has made the hospital self-sufficient and the NICU formula feed-free for two consecutive months.
- The first edition of the Naval Commanders’ Conference of 2023 is scheduled to commence, for the first-time, on board India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant. This is the first time that the conference is being held outside Delhi.
- The Union Home Ministry notified that prison authorities across States are allowed to conduct authentication of prison inmates through Aadhaar for extending benefits such as meeting with relatives and legal aid. The Ministry said the exercise was voluntary. Prison is a State subject.
