- With an aim to create 15,000 job opportunities for Indian students and strengthen the country’s aviation sector, Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Vadodara, of the Indian Railways signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the European aviation major Airbus.
- The Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Education (SIE) designed a first-of-its-kind dialects dictionary containing 76,000 words in regional dialects/languages of the State such as Bhojpuri, Awadhi, Braj and Bundelkhandi aimed at conserving regional dialects of the State and also promoting and helping in removing linguistic barriers. The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), the nodal agency, will release the volumes, the initiative is in line with the new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which calls for conserving and promoting regional dialects.
- INS Sumedha arrived at Port Alexandria, Egypt to participate in ‘Exercise BRIGHT STAR- 23’. This edition of the multinational Tri-Services military exercise will see participation from 34 countries including India . It is the largest ever joint military exercise in Middle East & North Africa region. This is the maiden participation of Indian Navy in Ex Bright Star
