NEWS – National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and Netflix India launch “The Voicebox” Upskilling Program
PROGRAM DETAILS
- Name: The Voicebox
- Purpose: Upskilling voice-over artists
- Languages Covered: English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati
- Cities for Workshops: New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi
- Batch Size: Up to 30 candidates
- Total Participants: 210 selected through preliminary screening
- Gender Ratio: At least 50% women
Training and Selection:
- Format: Structured workshops with guest lectures and mentoring
- Assessment: Followed by evaluation
- Top Participants: Seven from each batch will work on Netflix’s project “Azaadi ki Amrit Kahaniya”
Target Audience:
- Professionals: Preferably women with over two years of experience in media and entertainment
- Objective: Enhance voice-over skills
