DISHA 2.0

DISHA 2.0 is a ₹255-crore Central Sector Scheme (2026–31) that leverages technology through Tele-Law, Nyaya Bandhu, Legal Literacy, and VIDHI–Sanjeevani to improve access to justice for 50 lakh beneficiaries across India.

Four Components

Tele-Law

  • Provides pre-litigation legal advice through:
  • Mobile App
  • Toll-Free Number: 14454
  • Connects citizens with panel lawyers.
  • Engages Nyaya Sahayaks in Aspirational Blocks.

Nyaya Bandhu (Pro Bono Legal Services)

  • Advocates voluntarily provide legal assistance to marginalised sections under Section 12 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.
  • Pro Bono Panels constituted in 23 High Courts.

Legal Literacy & Legal Awareness Programme (LLLAP)

  • Promotes legal awareness and capacity building.
  • Builds partnerships with institutions and grassroots stakeholders.

VIDHI – Sanjeevani

  • Vision for Integrated Delivery of Harmonized Legal Initiatives.
  • Develops a centralised integrated dashboard for monitoring and implementation.
