  • Score: 53.3 overall (60.4 in system performance, 42.7 in readiness).
  • Achievements:
    • 4th largest renewables market; 42% renewable power share.
    • Universal electricity access achieved.
    • Energy intensity reduced → improved economic efficiency.
    • Methane emissions cut; per capita CO₂ emissions 60% below global average.
    • Clean energy investment surge (e.g., PM Suryaghar Yojana).
    • Rooftop solar and EV infrastructure received policy support.
  • India & China saw the highest improvements among large economies.
