• Ahmedabad, Bhopal, and Lucknow topped among million-plus cities under this new classification.

Rankings in Other Population Categories:

• 3–10 lakh group: Mira-Bhayandar (Maharashtra) ranked top.
• Bengaluru has ranked 36
• 50,000–3 lakh group: Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) led the list.
• Medium cities: Dewas (Madhya Pradesh), Karhad (Maharashtra), and Karnal (Haryana) performed well.

New Entrants in Super Swachh League:

• Cities like Indore, Surat, Navi Mumbai, Vijayawada recognised for consistent performance.
• A total of 23 cities inducted into this elite league.

• Best Ganga Town: Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh).
• Cleanest Cantonment Board: Secunderabad (Telangana).
• Best for Safaimitra Suraksha: Visakhapatnam, Jabalpur, and Gorakhpur.
