- Criminalises acts of social boycott imposed by individuals, groups, or community bodies.

- Punishment Provisions
- Imprisonment up to three years, or
- Fine up to ₹1 lakh, or
- Both imprisonment and fine upon conviction.
- Institutional Mechanism
- Provision for appointing a Social Boycott Prohibition Officer.
- Officer responsible for prevention, inquiry, and redressal of complaints.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE BILL
- Reinforces Article 14 (Equality before Law) and Article 21 (Right to Life with Dignity) of the Constitution.
- Addresses informal and extra-constitutional justice systems operating through caste panchayats.
