- Score: 53.3 overall (60.4 in system performance, 42.7 in readiness).
- Achievements:
- 4th largest renewables market; 42% renewable power share.
- Universal electricity access achieved.
- Energy intensity reduced → improved economic efficiency.
- Methane emissions cut; per capita CO₂ emissions 60% below global average.
- Clean energy investment surge (e.g., PM Suryaghar Yojana).
- Rooftop solar and EV infrastructure received policy support.
- India & China saw the highest improvements among large economies.
