Major Digital Initiatives

1. Saksham Anganwadi

• Modernising 2 lakh+ Anganwadi centres with smart infrastructure, digital devices, and learning tools.

• Enhances delivery of nutrition, healthcare, and preschool education.

2. Poshan Tracker

• Integrated with 14 lakh Anganwadi centres.

• Real-time data for 10.14 crore beneficiaries (pregnant women, lactating mothers, young children, adolescent girls).

• Recognised with the PM’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration (2025).

• Supports “Poshan Bhi, Padhai Bhi”—digital training modules for early childhood education.

3. Facial Recognition

• Introduced in the Supplementary Nutrition Programme to eliminate leakages and ensure rightful access.

Women’s Safety & Support

• SHe-Box: Online portal for lodging and tracking workplace sexual harassment complaints.

• Mission Shakti dashboard & app: Connects women in distress to One-Stop Centres operational across districts.

Maternal & Child Welfare

• PM Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY):

  • ₹5,000 for the first child; ₹6,000 for a second girl child under Mission Shakti.

  • Fully digital system with Aadhaar-based authentication, mobile registration, real-time dashboards.

  • ₹19,000 crore disbursed to 4 crore+ beneficiaries.

Outcomes & Impact

• Sex Ratio at Birth improved: from 918 (2014–15) to 930 (2023–24).

• Maternal Mortality Rate declined: from 130 (2014–16) to 97 per 1,000 births (2018–20).

Child Protection and Adoption

• CARINGS portal: Digitised and streamlined child adoption process.

• Mission Vatsalya dashboard: Enhances coordination in child welfare.

• Digitisation supports monitoring of foster care, institutions, and violation tracking.
