NEWS – Bengaluru is India’s top city for working women in 2024, with a City Inclusion Score (CIS) of 47.15, according to report by workplace culture consultancy Avtar.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Rankings:
    • Bengaluru ranked 1st in India for working women, improving from the 2nd position in 2023.
    • Mangaluru ranked 24th among 120 cities.
    • Belagavi, Hubballi-Dharwad, and Mysuru were also included in the survey.
  • City Inclusion Score (CIS):
    • Bengaluru scored 15, surpassing Chennai (46.31).
    • Mangaluru achieved a CIS of 99.
  • Top Cities for Women in India (TCWI)
    • Launched in 2022 to assess cities on inclusivity and gender equity.
