  • The Karnataka Religious Structures (Protection) Act, which was passed in the state assembly in September, has come into effect following the assent of Governor. It aims at Protection of religious constructions on a public place constructed before the date of commencement of this Act, in order to protect communal harmony and not hurt the religious sentiments of the public . It Defines an illegal religious structure as a “temple, church, mosque, gurudwara, Bodh vihar, Majar etc, constructed on a public place without authority of law
  • Govt panel chaired by Union Education Minister is all set to oversee NIPUN Bharat progress.NIPUN is a initiative of the Ministry of Education, Implemented by the Department of School Education and Literacy. The Target is Ensuring that every child in the country necessarily attains foundational literacy and numeracy by the end of Grade 3, by 2026-27.
