NEWS – Air India launched its maiden scheduled commercial flight of the Airbus A350-900 from Bengaluru to Mumbai

  • Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB or General Electric GEnx-1A engines, depending on the customer’s preference
  • Advanced pressurization and air filtration systems contribute to passenger comfort during long flights
  • Equipped with state-of-the-art avionics and navigation systems, including fly-by-wire technology. The fly-by-wire system enhances the aircraft’s handling and fuel efficiency while providing pilots with advanced automation features
  • Suitable for a variety of long-haul routes, offering airlines operational flexibility and the ability to connect distant city pairs. Its efficiency and range make it well-suited for non-stop flights on both established and emerging long-haul routes
  • Entered into commercial service in 2014 with its launch customer, Qatar Airways. Since then, it has gained popularity among airlines worldwide, becoming a flagship aircraft for long-haul operations
