• Based on a survey of 24,000+ residents across 150+ cities.
• Rankings also considered inputs from Time Out editors and cultural experts.
• Only the highest-ranked city from each country was included.

ABOUT JAIPUR

• Capital of Rajasthan, founded in 1727 by Sawai Jai Singh II.
• One of India's earliest planned cities, designed by Vidyadhar Bhattacharya based on Vastu Shastra.
• Known as the "Pink City" after being painted pink in 1876 to welcome the Prince of Wales.
• Part of the Delhi–Agra–Jaipur Golden Triangle tourist circuit.

HERITAGE & CULTURE

• Famous for monuments such as Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort, and Jantar Mantar.
