  • The Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru achieves ACI’s Level 4+ Transition and Green Airports Recognition. This accreditation is one of the highest accolades an airport can receive under the Airport Carbon Accreditation programme by Airports Council International (ACI).   • Bengaluru-based Pixxel, which is India’s first company to launch private commercial satellites in space, has announced $36 million in a Series B funding round with participation from new investors such as Google, along with existing investors Radical Ventures, Light speed, Blume Ventures, GrowX, Sparta, and Athera. The new funds will advance to build the world’s first and highest-resolution hyper spectral satellite constellation, delivering actionable climate insights on a planetary scale.
  • The fourth meeting of the National Level Steering Committee (NLSC) of the Atal Bhujal Yojana was held in New Delhi under the Chairmanship of Secretary, Department of Water Resources, RD & GR, Ministry of Jal Shakti. Atal Bhujal Yojana (ATAL JAL) is being implemented as a Central Sector Scheme since April, 2020 in 8220 water stressed Gram Panchayats of 229 administrative blocks/Talukas in 80 districts of seven States, viz. Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for five-year period (2020-25).
