  • NIMHANS initiates Suicide Loss Survivors forum, for those who lost their lives to suicide and to decrease stigma and provide postvention care and support to the families
  • Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) proposes setting up 500 MW solar park at Aurad in Bidar district. The proposed 500 MW capacity park will be set up along with the Pavagada Solar Park (in Tumakuru district) model. The project is expected to be commissioned by December 2025.
  • Bengaluru city police switch to Kannada commands for march past events from Hindi and English . It was done after recommendation of a committee was formed headed by a senior IPS officer, S. Parashivamurthy, to study the Belagavi experiment.
  • Cartoonist Ajit Ninan passed away in Mysuru. He was best known for the ‘Centrestage’ series in India Today magazine and ‘Ninan’s World’ in Times of India. One of his popular cartoon characters was ‘Detective Moochhwala’ in Target. Indian Institute of Cartoonists felicitated Mr. Ninan with the Barton Life-time achievement award at Indian Cartoon Gallery in 2022.
