  • International Epilepsy Day, the 2nd Monday in Feb, helps to raise epilepsy awareness. The theme for 2023 is “Stigma means fear or feeling negative reactions”. Epilepsy is a nervous disorder. It affects brain activity. The disease is identified late among children.
  • Karnataka has started mass drug administration for elimination of Lymphatic Filariasis, following the launch of a nationwide Mass Drug Administration (MDA) campaign aimed at ending disease transmission of Lymphatic Filariasis (LF).
