About Ethanol Blending Programme (EBP)
- Launched under the National Policy on Biofuels, 2018
- Implemented by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.

Types of Ethanol
- 1G: From sugarcane, maize, wheat (food crops).
- 2G: From agricultural residues (paddy straw, bamboo, etc.).
