- China has articulated four interlinked global initiatives that place people’s welfare, dignity, and development at the core of global governance.
- These initiatives aim to reform the international system through shared development, common security, and inclusive cooperation.

- Global Governance Initiative (GGI) – 2025: Calls for a more just, equitable, and inclusive global governance system.
- Global Development Initiative (GDI) – 2021: Focuses on people centered development.
- Emphasizes livelihood protection and equitable sharing of growth benefits.
- Global Security Initiative (GSI) – 2022: Advocates peace through dialogue and consultation.
