Bihar to become the first state to implement dynamic map to track land ownerships

• The dynamic map will automatically get updated, each time land ownership changes hands
• The objective of the move is to reduce legal disputes
• It is pertinent to mention that the state Assembly has recently passed the Bihar Land Mutation Amendment Bill, 2021, that made the mutation of maps mandatory.
• Every time a mutation takes place now, it will entail three changes, including
  • A change in the text
  • A change in the land parcel
  • A modification of the survey map
