Details :

• Replaces the unmanned aircraft system (UAS) Rules 2021
• following approvals have been abolished:
  • Approval for unique authorization number,
  • Approval for unique prototype identification number,
  • Approval for certificate of manufacturing and airworthiness,
  • Approval for certificate of conformance, certificate of maintenance as well as import clearance,
  • Approval for acceptance of existing drones, operator permit, and authorization of R&D organization
  • Approval for student remote pilot licence and remote pilot instructor authorization
  • Approval for drone port authorization, etc
• Reduced the number of forms and Fees
• Comprises of safety features like real-time tracking beacon, and geo-fencing.
• A Digital sky platform will be developed as a user-friendly single-window system.
