NEWS – Karnataka Govt launches dedicated Panchamitra portal for panchayat services

• Online portal and a WhatsApp chatbot feature that promises to help citizens access various services provided by gram panchayat
• karnataka.gov.in – dedicated website for citizens to access services and register their grievances
• The portal will be linked to a WhatsApp chatbot service available on the number 8277506000
• This Panchamitra WhatsApp has been developed to provide easy access to various information about gram panchayats, facilitate online service applications, provide application status tracking and enable the registration of grievances
• On Panchamitra, citizens can access information on elected representatives, gram panchayat staff, proceedings of the gram panchayat meetings, information on upcoming meetings, revenue collection and so on. Citizens can raise grievances pertaining to drinking water, repair of roads/bridges, MGNREGA scheme and others
