NEWS – SCO Startup Forum 4.0 was held in New Delhi, focusing on promoting startup interactions among SCO Member States.

HIGHLIGHTS

• DPIIT organized various initiatives for startup ecosystems, aiming to empower local startups in SCO Member States and facilitate access to investors and corporate engagement.
• Showcase of over 15 SCO startups’ products and services at the SCO Pavilion, providing networking opportunities.
• Workshop provided insights into strategic planning for seed fund establishment to support startups.
• Member States agreed to create an SWG for Startups and Innovation, aimed at fostering collaboration and accelerating regional economic development.
• India will host the second SWG meeting in November 2024 and SCO Startup Forum 5.0 in January 2025, continuing efforts to promote collaboration and innovation among SCO members
