  • The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), along with the Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT), introduced a new feeder bus service as part of the Sustainable Mobility Accords (SuMA) programme.
  • University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) to setup first-of-its-kind agriculture science museum in Bengaluru at GKVK campus. The museum will also include a millet gallery and provide details on agricultural marketing. It highlights evolution of agriculture
  • According to a report released by the Association for Democracy, total assets of the MLAs in Karnataka stands highest among all States and Union Territories in India. It is followed by Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh and State with lowest total assets is Tripura.

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi conferred Lokmanya tilak award in Pune by Tilak Smarak Mandir Trust. The award was started in 1983 in honour of Bal Ganagadhar tilak to be awarded to persons who have done Outstanding work and Extraordinary and remarkable contributions for the nation’s progress. Tessy Thomas , known as India’s “missile woman” who is Project Director for Agni-4 and Agni-5 missile systems was previous winner
