  • Recently, the Ministry of Power has issued an order for the setting up of District Level Committees to improve the quality of electricity supply in the country.
  • Union Transport minister concluded review on Mumbai-Delhi expressway. It will be the world’s longest highway once completed and is expected to be completed by March 2023.
  • Recently, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has seized two tonnes of sea cucumber, a banned marine species, in the Gulf of Mannar and Palk Bay areas in Tamil Nadu. They are marine invertebrates found on sea floor.
